The project’s contract has an initial duration of two years, extendable to a further two.
In a record three weeks period, Odilo delivered the platform providing students & faculty access to an extensive digital catalog of over 8,000 titles including eBooks and eAudio.
The new personalized CIELO platform and mobile application enables users to access the Library’s catalog and use multi-format content not only online but also offline in a much more straightforward and user-friendly manner.
ODILO met all technical requirements of the contest thanks to its state of the art multiple devices enabled platform and its wide variety of digital content: 1.4 million titles including magazines, courses, audiobooks, soft-skills, language learning and much more.
USAL has also added ODILO’s cooperative reading platform solution, with which teachers and students can communicate directly and continuously, promoting the exchange of opinions and knowledge inside and outside the classroom. USAL can now use ODILOS’ statistical reporting tools to evaluate their collections against the changing needs of their users. The platforms’ statistic module allows the university to optimize its budget according to the interests of its users using a variety of flexible purchase models, including pay-per-use.
