Madrid, June 25, 2025 – ODILO, the Spanish edtech company that enables any organization to create its own learning ecosystem, has hired María Martín as General Counsel. She is a professional with nearly 20 years of experience in legal advice to large tech firms.

For 13 years, he was part of the Capgemini consulting team, responsible for contract management at both national and international levels across the company’s various business areas. He was also in charge of the legal area within the Consulting division (Capgemini Invent) and served as a member of its Operational Committee.

She also held the position of Senior Legal Counsel Telco & Medio at Minsait, advising, designing and reviewing the legal strategy. More recently, she has been Director of Legal Counsel at UST Global for Spain and Latam, leading the creation of the legal department, as well as the implementation of the legal strategy, including the company’s criminal compliance program.

As part of her duties at ODILO, she will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global legal work. On her arrival at ODILO, Martin commented: “I am deeply grateful to join an exceptional, committed and inspiringly talented team. I approach this stage with enormous enthusiasm, a sense of responsibility, and the firm conviction that compliance, ethics, and risk prevention are the fundamental pillars upon which to grow solidly, innovate with purpose, and generate lasting trust. I will contribute to making these values a guide in our decisions and a competitive advantage on the road to the company’s global expansion”.

Maria’s appointment as new General Counsel is in line with the organization’s commitment to consolidate the talent of its management team following the recent announcement of Sarah Harmon as new CEO, and Carlos Segovia as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

With her work, she will not only protect the company’s present, but will also help to shape a future where the trust of our clients and users, innovation, and regulatory compliance go hand in hand. A firm commitment to making rigor, transparency, and responsibility a long-term corporate value,” says Sarah Harmon, CEO of ODILO.
