- The experience “Learning and creating in Infant with digital resources”, based on the pedagogical use of eLeo, has been recognized with the National Award for Educational Experiences, which promotes the digital competence of students.
- The project demonstrates how eLeo’s digital reading and educational resources can be successfully integrated into the Early Childhood Education stage.
- This recognition consolidates eLeo, a platform developed by the edtech ODILO, as a real driver of educational innovation from an early age.
Madrid, May VI, 2026.- Digital devices, increasingly universalized among children and adolescents, offer great opportunities when they are used for learning and socialization. This is pointed out by some recent studies, including How’s Life for Children in the Digital Age?, published by the OECD in 2025.
Following this line, the educational experience “Learning and creating in Infant with digital resources”, developed from the pedagogical use of eLeo, a digital library created by the Spanish edtech ODILO, has been recognized with the I National Award for Educational Experiences.
The initiative, developed by the teaching team formed by Marta Salazar Fernández and María Vicente Romero, from the María Moliner Spanish School in Andorra, is based on the challenge of bringing digital skills closer to Early Childhood Education students from a respectful, creative perspective and accompanied by families. As the people responsible for the project themselves explain: “We wanted students not only to use technology, but to turn it into a tool to read, create and express themselves“.
In this way, the award-winning experience is articulated around the use of the eLeo digital platform as the backbone for the creation of projects in the classroom, such as reading clubs, oral expression activities, dramatizations and collaborative proposals between school and home. In this section, the flexibility of the platform and the breadth of its children’s literature catalogue make digital reading a transversal pedagogical resource in classes, aligned with the curricular and emotional objectives of this educational stage.
In this way, technology is presented as a means to enrich learning and not as an end in itself. In this sense, the eLeo platform has facilitated a progressive, creative and responsible integration of digital resources, adapted to the rhythms of Early Childhood Education students and reinforced by the accompaniment of families at home, contributing to the development of digital skills from an early age.
An experience based on the digital platform eLeo, from the edtech ODILO
The firm behind eLeo is ODILO, the Spanish edtech that transforms the way people and organizations learn through a unique digital environment, from the earliest ages and throughout people’s lives. In the words of Ainhoa Marcos, VP Education & Public Sector of the company: “This recognition shows that, when put at the service of education, technology becomes a powerful lever to promote learning that is meaningful, inclusive and aligned with the digital challenges of the present and the future”.
In this sense, this National Award highlights the role of eLeo as a catalyst for transformative educational experiences, and that access to quality digital content, in a safe and carefully selected environment, allows schools to design innovative proposals that integrate reading, emotion, creativity and active participation of families from an early age.
In addition to the National Award, the experience was selected and published as a good pedagogical practice in the magazine Acción Lectora, consolidating itself as a reference for other centers interested in incorporating digital resources in a meaningful way at these ages. A double recognition that endorses the real impact of eLeo in the classroom and that reinforces ODILO’s global mission to promote learning ecosystems that inspire, accompany and scale educational innovation.
